My RB09 clutch control wore out because of the plastic construction. My roller blind was long and quite heavy and the metal chain wore out the plastic holder. Also the clutch control fits to a metal wall bracket also caused wear.
Locating and then installing the correct (but no longer manufactured) winding mechanism for a blind that had been installed in our home a few years prior to our buying it was a definite challenge - ably met by Dave and his team.
