Acmeda Automate WIFI Hub Pulse 2.0

A little painful to set up, weirdly insisted on wifi over Ethernet connection, but the automated scenes and easy voice command integration with Apple HomeKit are so worth it.

The requirement to use old, slow, wireless to initially connect the device is a pain in the butt. You can't even configure for wired, as the device forces wireless backup, which fails on modern dual band routers. Once you get past that stage, by either disabling 5g (if your router supports this) or obtaining and old AP, the setup is very straightforward. Even if your remote is damaged, you can pair directly with blind motors. Once fully configured it's a breeze to use and happily connects to dual band wifi.
If I was just rating Dave's service, it would be five stars all the way, but the Pulse 2's crappy wifi requirements just missed out.

Works really well most of the time. Intermittently disconnects from wifi which can be a pain but easily fixed (age-old “turn it off and on again” works). Delivery from Blind Parts by Dave was quick and can’t be faulted.
